I wanted to share a little about our weekend trip we took a couple weekends ago. ?Our family really enjoys going to Branson, MO. ?It's a relatively short drive from where we live so it's just far enough away to feel "gone" but close enough that it's an easy weekender, it also doesn't hurt that a friend of ours owns a condo there!

They are located right next to the Payne Stewart Golf Course and are really lovely! ?It's never crowded and we normally have the pool all to ourselves. ?It's a great place to just hang out as a family and recharge.


This time we visited the HOLLYWOOD WAX MUSEUM and surprisingly it was really fun! ?We got some great pics of the kids hanging with their celebrity friends however those are my phone and for some reason it's being a jerk by not allowing me to share them!

We love to go to the downtown area and explore the antique shops & BRANSON LANDING. ?One of our favorite places that is a must go to each time is Dick's 5 and Dime. ?You would not believe all the stuff jammed into this place! ?Our kids really have a field day in there! ?Although, you'll need more than a dime if you want to buy something! Ha! ?

We've never really taken the time to wait around for the water, light & fire show at the Fountains. ?We did this year and it was awesome! ?It was so hot that the mist from the water cannons really cooled us off! ?On our next visit we're going to make sure to visit the Fountains at night, we were told that was something we shouldn't miss. ?I'm not a great videographer but here's a short clip of what it was like... Can you imagine how awesome that must be a night?! ?Just watching our video's makes me ready to go back already! ?I can't believe we are right around the corner from school starting back again. ?Summer has flown by this year for us. ?What about you?

Ernesto becomes a hurricane before landfall in Mexico

CANCUN/CHETUMAL, Mexico (Reuters) - Ernesto strengthened into a hurricane on Tuesday just hours before making landfall on the southern part of the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico, home to popular tourist destinations.

Ernesto had top sustained winds of 80 miles per hour and was located 185 miles east of Chetumal, Mexico, the U.S. National Hurricane Center in Miami said in its 2:00 p.m. EDT advisory.

"I am only going to pack up my things but will not evacuate. Streets do flood but the water comes down quickly," said street vendor Rita Lopez, 46, as some light rain sprinkled Chetumal. "This is normal, I don't think this one is going to hit very hard."

Ernesto is forecast to arrive in the southern Gulf of Mexico, where state oil company Pemex has port facilities and offshore platforms, late on Wednesday. Pemex has said it was keeping an eye on the hurricane but there were no reports of evacuations or shipping restrictions.

Earlier on Tuesday, authorities from the Mexican state of Quintana Roo ordered the evacuation of some 1,500 people in the southern portion of the state, known for its scuba diving and eco-tourism attractions.

"These are just precautionary measures," said worker Francisco Velazquez, who led a group of five men wearing raincoats and wielding hammers and nails as they boarded windows at a government office in Chetumal.

While the eye of Ernesto is not expected to hit the region's major resort of Cancun, some rain fell in the area, which is packed with local and international visitors this time of the year.

Cancun, some 230 miles to the north of the storm's forecast path, was devastated in 2005 by Hurricane Wilma, the most intense storm ever recorded in the Atlantic.

"The center of Ernesto is forecast to move across the Yucatan peninsula late tonight and early Wednesday, and emerge over the Bay of Campeche by Wednesday afternoon or evening," the NHC said.

Hurricane warnings were extended northwards to the resort island of Cozumel from Chetumal and include the entire coast of low-lying Belize. A tropical storm warning remained in effect for the Atlantic coasts of Honduras and Nicaragua.

Mexico's top airline Aeromexico canceled a late flight to the Chetumal airport on Tuesday and one more Wednesday morning due to the bad weather, the company's regional office said.

One cruise ship which was due to dock at Cozumel on Wednesday canceled its visit and another was diverted to Veracruz, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Heavy rain hit northern Honduras early Tuesday but there were no reports of damage.

Rainfall of four to eight inches, and possibly 12 inches in some areas, were expected over Belize and the southern portions of the Yucatan peninsula.

Belize's government said 175 residents of outlying islands had voluntarily moved to safer ground, and five emergency shelters were being set up to house evacuees.

August and September are usually the most active months of the Atlantic-Caribbean hurricane season, which runs from June 1 to November 30.

2 men charged with staging Pa. reality TV robbery

INDIANA, Pa. (AP) ? Police have charged two out-of-state men with robbing two other men in western Pennsylvania by claiming they were recording a video for a reality TV show called "You Just Got Robbed."

Police in Indiana, Pa., tell The Associated Press the incident happened about 1:20 a.m. and that the suspects apparently attend a nearby technical school. They're identified as 21-year-old Randall Smith, of Temple Hills, Md., and 18-year-old Artie Goodwine, of Memphis, Tenn.

Police say one of the men put the victims into headlocks while the other recorded the robbery ? in which $20 was taken from one of the victims ? on a cellphone.

Online court records don't list attorneys for the men. Smith has posted bail but Goodwine remained in the Indiana County Jail on Monday, about 45 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.

Ahmadinejad: Iran should focus on oil products, not crude

DUBAI/LONDON (Reuters) - Iran should stop exporting crude oil and instead try to sell refined oil products, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying on Tuesday, a day after the United States moved to tighten sanctions on Tehran further.

"We must stop the exports of crude oil," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying by the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in a speech opening a new refinery near Tehran.

"We must go in such a direction that we do not export crude oil, and this is doable through the development of refineries and distribution."

Iranian crude exports have fallen sharply because of U.S. and European Union sanctions aimed at starving the government of vital oil revenues for its nuclear program by banning imports of Iranian crude and refined products.

Washington has prohibited U.S. companies from trading in all Iranian oil products for years, while an EU ban on importing crude and refined products came into effect on July 1.

Western government efforts to pressure Iran's biggest customers in Asia to reduce their trade have focused on crude because Iran struggles to meet its own needs for refined fuel.

Until 2007, Iran's inadequate refineries and rising demand made it highly dependent on imported gasoline - a vulnerability Western powers have targeted by blocking supplies to the country.

Iran has succeed in reducing its gasoline imports by building refining capacity, cutting fuel subsidies, rationing fuel and using more compressed natural gas.

With most foreign energy companies and engineering contractors avoiding Iran for fear of angering Washington, Iran has been forced to push on with its energy projects alone.

Ahmadinejad said at the ceremony that Iran should also sell technical and engineering expertise it has gained from such projects, oil ministry website Shana said.

Iran oil exports fell further last month to between 1.2 million barrels per day (bpd) and 1.3 million bpd.

Regional rival and U.S. ally Saudi Arabia has boosted its oil production to counter the supply gap resulting from sanctions on Iran and help dampen prices that rose sharply after Iranian threats to shut the Strait of Hormuz.

"The price of oil is political and not based on economics, and if pricing were based on reality, the price of oil would be much greater than the prices in the markets now," Ahmadinejad was quoted as saying.

He complained that oil prices were being kept artificially low by world powers. Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi said $100 a barrel was a fair price, according to the Mehr news agency.

Qasemi said on the sidelines of the same Shahid Tondgouyan refinery ceremony that Iran hoped to turn one million barrels a day of oil into refined products rather than sold as crude by March 2016, according to the Fars news agency.

Qasemi is expected to meet Turkish officials on Thursday to try to revive demand from Iran's biggest European customer.

Benchmark Brent crude was trading around $106 on Tuesday, down from over $128 in early March.
